Have you ever been a castaway on the island of self-doubt?
You know, it's where you're lost at sea and clearly shrouded by fantasy trying to break through as reality. The devil tries to get you to believe in something that isn't true.
When you're marooned on the island of self-doubt and can't see clearly. That's the reason to set your goals to keep you moving in the right direction and silence your insecurities.
And as the tempest rises and winds of life blow in your direction.
Just know God's got your back, but be vigilant to make any course corrections.
Goals can be the path we travel, and God can be your guiding light. Just pray for the ability of discernment to detect when something isn't right.
Some people call it a gut feeling, but I believe it's the divinity within me to see past the lies people try to tell me. Pulling the wool over my eyes or simply trying to befriend me to throw me off course and keep me from reaching my destiny.
Sometimes, we can't travel in the same direction as our friends or family. Our destiny is ours alone. There will come a time when you will witness your strength as whispers of uncertainty bombard you at length.
Realize it's not time to hide but to summon your courage deep inside to surmount the difficulties that you face. Don't shy away or wish things were easier because those are the moments you must embrace.
The lessons of life are the true meat and potatoes on the plate. I know it's good to eat our vegetables, but sometimes we need more substance to gain a little weight.
The waves of disbelief can hit you with such magnitude.
But hold on and endure with resilience. Knowing you're not a castaway but an individual made with God's brilliance.
