The Last Podcast was born out of the belief that people don’t need more noise—they need truth, clarity, and something that helps them breathe again.
I created this space for the person who’s trying to make sense of life after loss, transition, disappointment, or burnout. Here, we talk about resilience and growth the honest way—through real conversations, practical insight, and faith-rooted encouragement that meets you where you are.
This isn’t content for clicks. It’s a place to heal, to rethink the story you’ve been living in, and to take the next step—one thought, one decision, one day at a time.

The Key to Breaking Negative Self-Fulfilling Prophecies
Breaking negative self-fulfilling prophecies involves disrupting the cycle of limiting beliefs, behaviors, and outcomes. This requires intentional effort to change how you think, act, and interpret results. Here are the key steps:
1. Identify the Negative Belief
The first step is becoming aware of the limiting belief or expectation that is driving your behavior.

Episode 304: How Negative Self-Fulfilling Prophecies Can Affect Your Life
Wednesday Dec 18, 2024
Wednesday Dec 18, 2024
Prophecy is a prediction or foretelling of a future event.
If you’ve been following my previous podcasts, I’ve discussed topics like turning regret into opportunity, embracing change, viewing pain differently, and transitioning from one state of being to another.
Today, I want to focus on self-fulfilling prophecies.
What is a self-fulfilling prophecy?
Based on a psychological phenomenon that involves a future outcome that is influenced by our beliefs. These beliefs drive us to act in certain ways, which eventually create a result that aligns with those beliefs. In other words, it’s often about our expectations of a perceived outcome and how they shape our behavior over time.

How To Transition From 2024 to 2025
I am going to keep saying this until it arrives. We are coming to the genesis of 2025, and I want to encourage you to plan for success. We all know the old adage: if you don't plan for success, you are doomed to fail.
I only want to advocate for your success and inspire you to create the best year ever for you to experience.
This is easy to say, but the groundwork starts right here. It's starts right now. You can put pen to paper or finger to keys, whatever your preference is, and sit down to figure out what's next in your chapter of life. There are 12 new months ahead of you, and there is so much for you to achieve, do, accomplish, and experience.

Grief Around The Holiday's
Things You Can Do
1. Acknowledge Your Feelings
- Allow yourself to feel grief. It’s okay to feel sadness, anger, or even moments of joy amidst the loss.
- Journaling or talking to someone about your emotions can be cathartic.
2. Honor the Memory of Your Loved One
- Create a tradition in their memory, like lighting a candle, preparing their favorite dish, or sharing stories about them.
- Dedicate a moment during holiday gatherings to reflect on their life.
3. Set Realistic Expectations
- Decide what traditions you can handle and which ones you need to modify or skip this year.
- Communicate your limits to friends and family.

Monday Dec 09, 2024
Monday Dec 09, 2024
Are you living on autopilot? If so, maybe it's time to become more intentional in living your life, especially in our relationships, productivity, and spare time.
Steps to Interrupt Autopilot and Reclaim Control
-
Pause and Reflect
- Regularly schedule "check-in" moments to review your actions and feelings.
- Example: Journaling or mindfulness practice.
-
Ask "Why" More Often
- For every significant decision or habit, ask yourself:
- "Why am I doing this?"
- "Is this serving my current goals or values?"
- For every significant decision or habit, ask yourself:
-
Experiment with Change
- Break routines by doing something unfamiliar or uncomfortable.
- Try a new route to work, a new hobby, or a different approach to a recurring task.
- Break routines by doing something unfamiliar or uncomfortable.
-
Set Clear Intentions
- Start each day by defining one meaningful action you want to take.
- Example: “Today, I will connect deeply with a colleague.”
- Start each day by defining one meaningful action you want to take.
-
Practice Mindfulness
- Stay present by focusing on what you’re doing in the moment.
- Use techniques like deep breathing or grounding exercises.
- Stay present by focusing on what you’re doing in the moment.
-
Review Your Goals
- Are they outdated? Revise them to reflect your current desires and aspirations.
-
Seek Feedback
- Ask trusted friends or mentors if they notice patterns in your behavior that seem automatic or unexamined.
Transformative Questions to Move Beyond Autopilot
-
What do I want to achieve or experience in the next month/year?
- Helps shift focus to intentional goal-setting.
-
What small change can I make today to disrupt my routine?
- Encourages actionable steps toward growth.
-
Who inspires me, and why? How can I embody those qualities?
- Helps you realign with inspiring values.
-
If I weren’t afraid, what would I do differently?
- Challenges limiting beliefs that keep you in a loop.
-
What legacy or impact do I want to create?
- Encourages a big-picture view to guide your decisions.
By regularly asking yourself these questions and implementing small, intentional changes, you can stay aware and actively engaged in shaping your life.
